Suri Alpacas Sold

Mayfly is another beautiful edition from the breeding of Shamrock and Vader. Her full brother, Applejack, was the Champion at GWAS last year at just 8 months, winning over several champion yearlings. Mayfly will be a strength in our show string this year, for sure. She's a fun, curious girl, and is growing nicely.

Quinn is growing like a weed and stands proud in the pasture.

After a slow start, Bellini blossomed and is packing on lustrous fiber with gorgeous locks.

Chase is the product of Kalee, Judge's Choice and Astor, Color Champ at Futurity. He inherited his Mom's sweet disposition and is growing nicely.

Maya has a beautiful wedge shaped muzzle. She was shorn as a juvi and her fiber has grew in nicely. She was SHIP scored December 2016 and also biopsied in 2016. She 's a great mom with lots of milk. Her claim to fame on the farm is her staple length, ranking in the top 1% in the 2018 EPDs.

Top 5% EPDs in AFD, SF, %F>30 Skye has been a textbook alpaca for us thus far. Easy birth and easy care. She's packed with Accoyo genetics. She's Full Peruvian and 3/4 Accoyo. Her sire is Ameripaca's Young Princeton and her dam is Ameripaca's Marsha. Marsha is a proven dam with good milk and gentle disposition. Skye held her own against some tough competition at MAPACA 2016. Her regrowth is awesome and her fiber so very fine. Check out her histogram. She has excellent conformation and fiber to match. Skye participated in SHIP December 2016, scoring perfect 5's for conformation. Her fleece average score is 3.93. She is also top 15% in SDAFD and MSL. She gave birth to a female cria on June 16th, 2018.

Marsha's a full Peruvian, ¾ Accoyo with Accoyo Peruvian Rockstar on her dam’s side. She’s an excellent mom, attentive as well as a milk machine. She'll be one we are breeding in 2017.

Tabby looks like her name. She's a sweet gal with excellent lineage. She has good structure and stands straight and strong. Her regrowth is a bit darker, but she still presents a unique combination of color. Handspinners would love to work with her fleece.

Molly will win your heart with her personality. She has nice length to her fiber and she's fine with nice luster. She's a farm favorite for sure. Molly participated in SHIP scoring December 2016.

Lariope has a very nice collection of positive traits. Her fleece is fine with a nice silky feel. Her luster is phenomenal. Her sire Plutonium won Junior Herdsire of the Year at the 2013 Mapaca Jubilee. Lariope has been a picture of health from the start. Her birth weight was 21 pounds and she was 77 pounds at weaning. She is easy going with a gentle spirit.

GLR Amita is the daughter of GLR Amelita and GLR Rastamon. Amelita has a long list of Champion winning offspring including, GLR Coyhaique, GLR Atacama, GLR Kolaqua, GLR Blackout and GLR Amayah to name a few. Amelita herself, was the Grey Color Champion at the 2005 AAA Futurity. Add to Amita's mothers resume the genetics of GLR Amita's true black sire GLR Rastamon,the densest alpaca of any color ever produced at Great Lakes Ranch with a follicle biopsy density of 68, and she has all the ingredients to become an exceptional foundation female for anyone interested in adding champion producing colored genetics and excellent fiber characteristics to their breeding program. GLR Amita at just one day over six months showed at AOBA Nationals in Harrisburg and placed 2nd as the youngest in her class. Not a bad start to her career. Her fleece has a very soft hand. Her color genetics are strong when viewing her pedigree. Amita is an excellent mom and has plenty of milk. She is very attentive to her youngster and will voice concern if anyone tries messing with her.

GLR Ella is the very first offspring of Shavano son, GLR Pablo. Pablo's mother, Rockstar's Peruvian Paloma is one of the very best female producers on the GLR ranch. No matter who she has been bred to, she has always produced color, and always had cria who performed in the top of their classes at the most competitive shows in the country. Ella has the added advantage of a MacGyver free pedigree so she represents the perfect outcross female to be bred to those awesome MacGyver studs you have at home. She also happens to have the sweetest personality as well. She placed first in her class at MAPACA, the largest Suri show of 2014. Ella has been a great mom, with good instincts and plenty of milk.

Oasis has a very sweet disposition. Her fiber is quite uniform. She is an easy keeper.

Marianne is a fancy patterned female who won 1st place Full Fleece MULTI Juvenile Female at the 2007 Maryland Show in Timonium, MD. Her sire, Gunsmoke, is a full Peruvian charcoal grey suri, sired by 5Peruvian Condor. Gunsmoke is most famous for producing greys, appaloosas and unusual color patterns. Marianne’s dam, Marguerite, won Reserve Champion and 2nd Suri Juvenile Multicolor Female at the 2003 AOBA National Conference, 1st place 2003 Empire Alpaca Extravagaza, 2nd place 2003 North American Alpaca Show and 1st place at the 2003 Virginia Classic. Marianne’s grand dam has produced many champion and blue ribbon winning offspring.

Cassie will capture your heart. She started off strong and has not stopped since birth. She birthed easily and her dam, Cashmere, is an excellent Mom. Cassie's fiber is growing in nicely and we expect to show her in 2016.

Kali is a solidly build female. She made her show debut at MAPACA in April 2017 and earned Walking Fleece Champion. Her pedigree is strong with Great Lakes Ranch genetics, such as Cinders, Rastamon, Shavano and Amelita. Toss a little Condor and Accoyo Jackpot in the mix to boot.

Pixie Dust is a cutie. She's an inquisitive alpaca and growing nicely. Her fiber is to die for. We'll look to breed her in 2021. The purchase price includes breeding Pixie Dust with any of our Herdsires. We recommend MMALP Goldstar's Vader, Futurity Herdsire of the Year (RC).

Coalypso is easy to work with, but reminds your verbally when initially handled. Her fleece is uniform in color and has good locking throughout. The locks are straighter at the skin that twist and wave starting about 1/2 way down to the tips--perfect for processing, creating very little loss in production. It is very soft with beautiful luster and she is a fleece machine. Her 2017 shearing at 364 days yielded a 3.5 lb skirted blanket! Coalypso is the daughter of two multiple Champions: Sierra Bonita's Macgyer's Hotazel and WRSR Peruvian Coal-Amity. She comes from a long line of champions and champion producers, with significant dark color genetics in her background. She is an extremely attentive mother who is producing a lot of milk. This girl's pedigree is loaded with well known names including SEATTLE MIST and CONDOR. Her dam is a dark silver grey female named WOLFPACA BLUSHING SHADOW by Seattle Mist, and her sire is USA MOONSHADOW. Moonshadow's dam, 4P SILVER ORCHID, is one of the 1st full Peruvian grey imports and she has produced numerous grey offspring. Pixie has SUPER bloodlines to produce both silver grey and rose grey offspring. Her fiber and coverage is excellent. Regrowth after multiple shearings still shows exceptional luster and locking. We are pleased to note that her fleece is also maintaining its fineness. Her 2018 histogram is impressive for a female of her age: 24.5 AFD, 6.1 SD, and 24.7 CV. Conformation is flawless and she has a beautiful head with perfect bite. Pixie was shown at large shows and competed very well. Her offspring have also won several awards including Champion and first place ribbons.

Kady was an easy birth with no difficulties and she took to nursing like a pro. She's been the picture of health since day one. Kady's dam, Coalypso is the daughter of two multiple Champions: Sierra Bonita's Macgyer's Hotazel and WRSR Peruvian Coal-Amity. She comes from a long line of champions and champion producers, with significant dark color genetics in her background. Kady's sire is Serengeti, a Razor son and winner of 5 Championships and 9 blue ribbons in both halter and fleece. Serengeti has a wonderful disposition and retained fineness. Kady comes with breeding to your choice of one of our breeding males: Goldstar's Vader, GLR Picasso, Macres Cutter by McPryed or even AOA National Champion RDE's Maserati

Cleo has super white fiber. She's from the Crown Royale line, which has limited genetics since Jim Barker was careful not to over-breed Crown Royale. We are expecting Cleo's secondaries to burst out this year adding some more density to her fine fiber.

Another winner by AIA Moonshadow Pixie. Karma is already showing nice luster on her multi colored fleece. Textbook birth and easy keeper, just how we like them to be. She has a pleasant disposition She showed as a bay black in 2019, but is definitely an appy. Her regrowth has some grey as well as brown, fawn and bay black.

Dam Cashmere delivers unassisted once again. Cria is 19.5 pounds at birth. No complications and she easily found the milk bar. Her full brother is Macres Cutter, multi champion, earning 1 Champion and 3 Reserve Championship banners as a juvenile during the 2018 show season and another Reserve Championship in 2019 as a previously shorn male. Her sire, LHSA Pandora's McPryed, produces and incredible amount of fleece annually and has retained his fineness. His biopsy results at 2 years: Density 60.25, S/P 10.3/1, S/P 18.8/26.1, Spread 7.3, glands 3 of 4, medulation 10%. It is believed a lower spread leads to better uniformity, better handle, etc. His 2016 histogram: AFD 23.0, SD 5.7,CV 24.8%, >30 9.8% at 5 years of age. This was his 4th fleece. His prime blanket was 5.2 lbs and again he had 2 lbs of neck fleece, all of which is very usable fiber. Her dam, Ameripaca's Cashmere, also has an impressive record, scoring in the top 15% in 5 categories in the 2017 EPDs. Her rank for AFD was 13%, SF 9.9%, %F>30 6.3%, MSL 12%, and FW 13.9%. Her 2017 histogram: AFD 25.7, SD 6.8, CV 26.3%, >30 16.8% at 7 years old. Her pedigree includes names like Ameripaca's Young Princeton and Accoyo Baron LaFite. She's an excellent mother, easy birther with lots of milk and easy to work with, even when pregnant. She has consistently produced healthy vigorous crias.

This gal is full of personality and will melt your heart. And, oh, her fiber will do the same. We were hoping for black or gray, and got brown. But, we are NOT disappointed. On her sire's side, she has Accoyo Goldstar, Torbio and Stone Brook's MIdnight Lockdown. Then, just as impressive, on her dam's side, she carries, Silver Stone, Silver Heat and Kobe of PVA. Tequila, as we've nicknamed her, has done well in halter and fleece shows. She's been bred to GLR Picasso, 5X Champion/Reserve.

NIGHT OUT is full sister to 2 X National Supreme Champion, Uproar, and she looks the part! She's maturing nicely and we are looking forward to breeding her after the 2021 show season.

GLR Korinna was the Res Champion Black Female at Futurity, MAPACA and GWAS in 2015. At the Futurity, Judge, Amanda VandenBosch, explained in her oral remarks, "Korinna exhibits great luster and smooth hand throughout her fleece on a well balanced, solid frame". Korinna is the daughter of GLR Kokolatte and GLR Rastamon. Kokolatte was the 2012 AOBA Nationals Grey Female Color Champion and the 2012 Reserve Grey Female Champion at MAPACA. GLR Rastamon is an extremely dense true black Great Lakes herdsire with a biopsy follicle density of 68 and has been named Futurity Herdsire of the Year. Korinna has a strong pedigree with colored genetics from both sides of her lineage, with great potential for gray offspring. Even at a young age she was showing good lock, density and luster and has that deep true black color like her father. Korinna's excellent fiber characteristics and solid conformation make her a great addition to the Memory Macres herd. She has competed in the largest and most prestigious shows and has grown into a beautiful, true to phenotype, Suri show stopper winning as the Res Black Female Color Champion behind the AOA and MAPACA Judge's Choice black female. Korinna's 2017 model, Cinch, was named the 2019, AOA National Black Male Champion. Her 2019 daughter, Larkspur, placed first at 2020 AOA Nationals Halter show. Korinna's 2021 offspring, a male, was born easily and is showing nice potential already.

Larkspur is the beautiful result of breeding two multiple champion parents, Korinna and Chaparral. She is showing good locking with strong luster and sound conformation. Larkspur has a great pedigree with 4 X JC, Wyuna, and Chakotah on her sire's side and lots of black and gray genetics on her maternal side. Larkspur's juvi show career was pretty darn good. Her fleece received a coveted score of 80 at PAOBA's 2020 fleece show. Her first cria, a Vader son, is looking good!

Special Edition is out of "Elena" who has been an outstanding producers of champions. She is the dam of limited Edition who also was Judges Choice at every major show he was in. Her sire Goldstar keeps consistently producing super fibered, conformationally correct, with great heads and coverage on his crias. In addition to her Judges Choice award and multiple championships Special Edition was awarded 2016 AOA National Supreme Champion!

Dakota exhibits excellent conformation and has a very consistent, dense fleece. Suri phenotype, fineness, and uniformity make this girl a standout. Dakota's Dam Coalypso is the daughter of two multiple Champions: Sierra Bonita's Macgyer's Hotazel and WRSR Peruvian Coal-Amity. She comes from a long line of champions and champion producers, with significant dark color genetics in her background. Her Sire GLR PICASSO has been twice named Champion at Futurity. PICASSO is sired by Shavano, who was the signature true black herdsire at Great Lakes Ranch, and the 2010 Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year. PICASSO'S dam, Rockstar's Peruvian Paloma, is a multiple color champion. When she comes of breeding age, we're thinking breeding to black, as she has a lot of black in her pedigree.

Casanova has a very sweet personality, good conformation and fine fiber. He is a gentle boy who handles easily. He comes from a strong background. His parents are both award winning animals. Derby didn't waste any time after birth to get up and moving. He's a curious fellow and his fiber is growing nicely. He's got a lovely head. His lineage has many show winners. We'll see him at MAPACA in April this year.

Clipper was raring to go, wasting no time taking his first steps and looking for some milk. His first fleece stats are pretty impressive, but we are looking forward to more secondaries coming in as he matures. In his background, you'll find 6Peruvian Accoyo Crown Royale, Baron, and Uribe.

MAVERICK is the image of his daddy, GLR Picasso. Picasso has sired (2) National Supreme Champions; (3) Judge's Choice; (19) Champions; and (10) Reserve Champions. He consistently gives his offspring great fiber characteristics and we see it all in Maverick. Can't wait to watch this boy grow up and get him into the show ring. Plus, he's one of those curious, friendly kids you love to have in the herd.

Wyatt has a solid strong and large frame for his age. His locks are the flat layering kind and his luster is awesome. His chill personality makes him a pleasure to work with. His sire, RDE's Maserati Limited Edition (2019 AOA National Supreme Champion) brings genetics like Limited Edition, Goldstar, Electrofyre and DDF Accoyo Elena. His dam, Tikanui's Kalee of Harmony (2021 AOA Supreme Champion, Futurity Champion & Judge's Choice) bring genetics of Pucara Puresuri Tikanui and Pucara Kahuna to the table. He's starting his show career strong!

L'il Grey has lots of lustrous fiber along with a gentle personality. Grey did a great job at his first shows in 2024.
